On Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m., Jerry Hess will be leading a new Bible Study entitled “God Heard Their Cry”. In ancient times, nothing was bigger than Egypt---powerful pharaohs, strong armies, and a multitude of gods. God’s people were no match against the Egyptians. The Barnes DNR Spring Forest Fire Meeting for Fire Fighter Food Preparation will be held this Monday, March 15, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Barnes Town Hall. For more information call Polly at 795-2896.
Needed: Couples or two people to sign up to bring a meal for the Wednesday night Youth Group in March and April. There is a sign-up sheet under the bulletin board. Chaplain Kent Seldal writes . . . Well, I got a call today and I am part of a medical team going to Haiti for a week beginning March 20th. My role will be that of counseling refugees. A daunting task for which I need much prayer. The project is part of Mission to the World, Presbyterian Church in America, the denomination through which I am ordained.
